Ivermectin injection for Dog/Cow/Cattle/Goat/Sheep/Camel/Horse
Composition
Ivermectin. 1 g excipient q. S. F. 100 ml
Indications
Cattle, sheep, goats, camels and swine:
For the treatment and control of gastro-intestinal roundworms (including benzimidazole, levamisole and morantel resistant strains), lungworms, eye worms (thelazia spp. ), myiasis (warble, screw-worm), mange mites, lice, nasal bot (oestrus ovis) and as an aid in the control of ticks.
Contra-indications
Ivermectine 1% must not be administered intramuscularly or intravenously.
Do not use in lactating animals if milk is intended for human consumption.
Administration and dosage
By subcutaneous route only.
Cattle, sheep, goats and camels:
The recommended dosage is 0.2 mg ivermectin per kg bodyweight or 1 ml
Ivermectine 1% per 50 kg bodyweight.
Swine: 1 ml per 33 kg bodyweight. The use of a dry and sterile needle and syringue is recommended. Automatic dosing equipment can be used. Do not inject more than 10 ml per injection site.
Precautions
Refrain from eating and smoking while using the product. Wash hands after use. Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees and protected from light.
Withdrawal period
Meat and offal: 28 days
Milk: Do not use in lactating animals if milk is intended for human consumption
Keep out of reach of children.
Veterinary use only
Ivermectin is available in 5ml, 10ml, 25ml, 50ml, 100ml injection.
